Chinese stocks fell on Thursday after the country reported worse-than-expected factory output and retail sales data for November. The benchmark Shanghai Composite shed 0.25 percent, while the Shenzhen Component added 0.32 percent. Hong Kong stocks finished sharply lower, with the Hang Seng index falling 1.55 percent and the TECH index dropped 2.39 percent.
