我可以不带偏见地告诉你，这个说法绝对是错误的！有足够的数据可以充分比较印度和撒哈拉以南非洲的贫困情况。此外，印度政府会通过一些项目帮助生活在贫困线以下的人。我知道印度确实有腐败，不是所有东西都能送到有需要的人手中，但相信我，印度已经比撒哈拉以南的非洲好多了。

Barring any inequalities.

African countries are as developed as India in nominal GDP terms.

How ever countries like South Africa, Kenya, Egypt are more developed one In Africa Lybia was much more developed but Arab spring destroyed that country again.

Many African countries along with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka are clubbed in low middle income nations. As such we need to improve from here to middle income , higher middle income and then to developed to be in any ranks. Same is true with African states. Egypt, South Africa , zimbabve are in the lower middle income group.

Botswana’s HDI is to be watched. It is higher than that of India. It does not have serious racial/poverty issues as in South Africa.
