　　Confirmed infections of COVID-19 in Yunnan Province had no increase from 0:00 to 24:00 of March 2, 2020. The province has been free of new confirmed cases for 11 consecutive days. 

　　In addition to those cured and discharged from hospital, there still remained 4 confirmed cases in Yunnan. All of the confirmed cases are receiving isolation treatment in designated hospitals. No patient is in severe condition or critically severe condition, and there are 2 death cases in total. There are 4 suspected cases at present. 29 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation on March 2 and 82 are still under medical observation.

　　As of 24:00 of March 2, a total of 174 confirmed cases had been reported in Yunnan, among which 168 people had been discharged from hospital after recovery. The specific distribution in the province is as follows:

　　1. According to the Chinese National Health Commission, on March 2, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 125 new cases of confirmed infections, 129 new cases of suspected infections, and 31 deaths (all in Hubei province). 2,742 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 7,650 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 304.
