美国国会议员提出专注于硬分叉的税收法案!

5月15日消息，在CoinDesk2019共识大会的政府与技术关系专题讨论会上，美国国会议员Tom Emmer透露了他打算重新引入“为拥有分拆资产的纳税人提供安全港”的法案，该法案将使持有加密货币的纳税人受益于区块链网络分割或硬分叉。

U.S. Representative Tom Emmer plans to reintroduce a bill that would benefit taxpayers who hold cryptocurrency resulting from blockchain network splits, or hard forks.

Emmer revealed his intention to reintroduce the “Safe Harbor for Taxpayers with Forked Assets” bill, first announced in2018, during a panel on the relationship between government and technologies at Consensus 2019 on Monday.

The Minnesota congressman was joined on stage by Chamber of Digital Commerce president and founder Perianne Boring, Fidelity Investments deputy general counsel David Forman, and CoinDesk advisory board chairman Michael Casey.

The host of the Keiser report says the cryptocurrency hasn’t even begun to reach its potential, maintaining that his 2018 $100,000 per coin was still achievable.

BTC has added more than $2,000 to its price in less than a week in May 2019 alone. The $141 billion market cap asset has gained north of 120 percent since the beginning of the year with more than 83 percent of that growth occurring in April and May 2019.

Keiser also used the opportunity to once more rip into nocoiners like Warren Buffett who continue to disparage BTC ironically calling it ‘rat poison squared.’

Blockstream推出Liquid Securities平台，提供证券型代币发行服务

5月15日消息，Blockstream在2019 纽约共识大会上宣布推出LiquidSecurities平台。据悉，这是Blockstream在其Liquid Network侧链上推出的第一款产品，可与比特币区块链相连，将允许用户在Liquid Network之上发行和管理证券型代币。

Bitcoin startup Blockstream is launching a platform that lets users launch their own tokens by utilizing its bitcoin sidechain, Liquid.

Launched at CoinDesk’s Consensus conference 2019, the Liquid Securities platform is the first product Blockstream has launched on top of itsLiquid Network sidechain, a network tied to the bitcoin blockchain with faster coin transfers and better built-in privacy.

The app will allow users to issue and manage security tokens on top of the Liquid Network.

“Businesses around the world are racing to take advantage of the tokenization of securities,” Blockstream CSO Samson Mow said in a statement, adding:“Unfortunately, blockchain platforms like ethereum are failing them due to issues with scaling, privacy, and reliability. […] Now, with the launch of Liquid Securities, businesses can quickly issue Liquid-based security tokens with the click of a button, and establish sophisticated rulesets to conform with their regulatory requirements with no engineering experience required.”
